With just 24 hours left until last tickets for BSides Belfast 2026 go on sale, (11am sharp, get your F5 fingers ready!), we wanted a quick update and a few announcements.
First off, we’re grateful to our #BSidesBelfast26 Tera and Giga sponsors, without whom this BSides wouldn’t be happening. There’s still time to join their ranks before the end of July if you or your company would like to support #BSidesBelfast as a Mega or Kilo sponsor or as a ‘Benefactor’ (ed. After-Party sponsor is still available if that’s your speed!)
Secondly, the quality of submissions from the CFP has been amazing with over 100 proposals from over 75 speakers. The review panel is going through those at the moment (Sessionize tells me they’re 85% done with their reviews!) and then the top 30ish will be put to the CIC board and we’ll schedule out the day. We’re expecting around 20 talks and 3 workshop sessions and we’ll be doing out best to avoid thematic conflicts (and as with everything this year, avoiding too much clanker slop…)…
Speaking of speaking, finally, we wanted to announce that Lena Yu (aka @LambdaMamba) will be our Keynote speaker this year!
Lena is known globally for establishing #MalwareVillage and Malmons, and manages to bring a unique humanity and approachability to the technicalities of malware analysis, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they kick off BSides Belfast 2026 in September!
